MR. NARENDRA FIRODIA
Founder of Sohamm Group, Telecom Tycoon, Real Estate Wizard, Impregnable Leader, and Innate Social Worker. Narendra Firodia has earned many sobriquets since his birth in Ahmednagar to the illustrious Firodia clan.
His ancestors were staunch Gandhians, social activists, well-known industrialists, and Members of Parliament. Taking inspiration from his predecessors, Mr. Firodia has achieved great success in various sectors like film, telecommunication, hospitality, and manufacturing, through discipline and perseverance.
Holding the virtues of Sportsman, being a fitness disciple and having the aspiration to encourage people for a healthy living, he took a pioneering decision of introducing Nagar Rising Foundation which could promote the citizens to unite together and celebrate health to make Ahmednagar healthy.
Marathons existence took place to create awareness of cancer and promote a healthier living.

A Runner, a leader and a dreamer holding a dream of making Ahmednagar a healthy city, Mr Sandip Joshi an initiator of Nagar Rising Marathon has been unceasingly devoting his efforts in encouraging the citizens to be a part of a healthy lifestyle.
He has participated in many national and International marathons including South Africa, Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik, etc.
Holding the vision to make Ahmednagar a better place and aiming Ahmednagar to be visible in the world sports arena and also attract out-station runners as well as inculcate health as an important aspect in an individual’s life, he has been persistently inspiring people especially the local runners feed their passion.
With a consistent efforts and dedication, hard work, today runners community stands with 20000+ runners in the city who have been participated in Nagar Rising Marathon in last 6 years.
